David K. McCrory

He attended the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Louisiana State University, from which he graduated Order of the Coif with a Juris Doctorate degree and Bachelor of Civil Law degree in May 2006.

His professional practice has been concentrated in the corporate and commercial area, with emphasis on oil and gas, environmental defense, water bottom disputes, business law, accounting ethics and professional responsibility as well as litigation in these areas.

Mr. McCrory is admitted to practice in all Federal Courts in Louisiana, and in the United States Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit.

Mr. McCrory is also a certified public accountant who, prior to graduating from law school, worked as an investigative auditor for the Louisiana Legislative Auditor's Office where he interviewed over one hundred individuals both for information gathering and admission seeking purposes in the course of investigating and reporting fraud in state and local government. While attending law school he was a member of the 2005 National Tax Moot Court Competition championship team. After graduating from law school, Mr. McCrory practiced with Adams and Reese, L.L.P., in their litigation practice group with a focus on commercial litigation.

He attended Louisiana State University from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance in December 1999 and a Master of Public Administration in May 2001. While attending Louisiana State University's Public Administration Institute, he served as the managing editor of the Global Virtual Ethics Review, an online academic publication.

Mr. McCrory is a member of the Lafayette Parish and Louisiana State Bar Associations, Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
